It is a Basic program which patches the ram verion of gem so that the disk formater works differently. Disks which are then formated and used with the standard gem perform io at double the speed of the normal formatted disk. The transfer rate is near the theoritical maximum. I haven't actually tried it yet but will let you know what I find out. /bill
