Specifically, is there a multitasking GEM in the works which will fully exploit the resources of 68020 machines? I am sure most of us would love to see many of the best features of the windowing and operating systems of Symbolics, Sun, Apollo, MicroVAX, and Xerox 6085 workstations integrated into a GEM or GEMlike interface on the next generation of Atari machines. Also, will it be possible to run Windows with the new IBM PC emulator for the Atari, and, if so, might not Windows and eventually MS-DOS 5.0 become the operating system of choice for Atari users and programmers?
