The system was originally running MSDOS when we installed a second hard drive (Mountain Card 30MB). This configuration worked fine with no problems. The problem is, as I understand it, that under UNIX the system looks at the ROM on the Mother-board to determine the hard-disk configuration for the system. Because of this I do not have any way of accessing the Mountain Card via UNIX. I might add the Mountain Card has its own controller, and I can not use it to control my internal 20MB drive. Has anyone had a simular problem, and if so, is there an answer? I would like to be able to use both hard-disks partitioned 80% UNIX 20% DOS. Right now my only access to the Mountain Card is to Boot DOS from drive a: and change to "d:". Ed Kufeldt AT&T Network Systems Lisle,Ill. Voice: (312)510-2516
