If the terminal supports 2400 baud then the modem will work with it BUT you may be slowed down a little from true 2400 baud. I have an Amiga (the before advice is from a friend) and they have to do some pretty fancy tricks to pull off 1200 baud much less 2400 baud. I would try one out at a dealer before laying down any money. Not to mention, there are two separate protocols for 2400 baud modem handshakes and you would be suprised how many modems use Bell instead of the much better CCITT V22.bis. Racal-Vadic and Multics make CCITT V22.bis faithful modems. USRobotics doesn't. Have a good look. Some words of advice. Dan Wallach ...!ihnp4!convex!danny
