Lines: 11 I understand that the earlier versions of the Commodore 1571 disk drive had specific problems, but later models had the "bugs" taken out. My question is; How does one know if he/she has an earlier model (with the problems) or a later model (with problems solved)? Serial numbers? Run a certain program or test? How? Please answer to the net, since I would imagine that there are a few people out there who already own or are going to buy a 1571 drive. THANKS.
