My C64 went dead in the middle of a session when I was using a data
base program. The CRT went blank and the system refuses to work now. I
swapped the video chip  with a friends computer while using my power
supply and disk. It didn't fix the problem. Now his C64 doesn't work
either (after putting his chip back).

Help!

I've tried a different power supply to no avail.
