If its an HP-86 A with the Non HPIB drive then it will not be able to
read or write a standard IBM floppy. The internal sector buffer is only
256 bytes while the IBM needs 512. I understand that there are programs
for the IBM that can read/write HP LIF formated discs but I have not tested
any with HP-86 discs.
