I haven't used the computer much since then, but now I notice a rather loud "rubbing, grinding?" noise whenever the disk is accessed. I could hear it faintly when the drive was first installed, it has been getting gradually louder. It sounds like the heads are riding rather hard on the surface of the floppy. Is this normal for this type of drive? The 400K drive never made this sound. It seems to function ok, but the noise is irritating, and I'm worried about possible damage to the disks. Steve Johnson
