I was reading the version of Inside Switcher in the latest software supplement, and was rather intrigued by all the neat stuff that "switcher-aware" programs can do. For instance, the bit about a program being able to access data out of an inactive partition in a controlled fashion... Anybody heard any rumors about the level of "Switcher-compatibility" in the upcoming Servant? Will it include this esoteric stuff? In reading the messaging descriptions, I couldn't help thinking about the "10 challenges" that were posted on this newsgroup recently. It looks like with a little bit of work you can have the framework for "HotView" style interactions between programs without having to take the glob-it-all-together route of Jazz. Comments anyone?
