I have only used it for about a half hour quick test, but it seems to be very nice. The document that arrived with the program unpacked ok, but was truncated in the first paragraph of Section 14.3 -- Randomness. Is there any way to get the missing end? Is there anything of value there? Is there any documentation for some of the mac-specific features anywhere? Whenever I edit a largish file and then exit with C-X C-C I get a System error bomb, ID=02. Exits via the File menu appear to work, and exits when the amount of text being edited is less than a screenful also seem to work, even by the C-X C-C route. I am using microEMACS version 0.6. (And a 512K old mac, and Finder 1.1g) Is this editor reliable? I need to use something for a two week period in a remote location, and I am reluctant to rely on microEMACS given that I made it crash with such a common command. I also have WORD and MacWrite but all I want to do is edit text, and microEMACS seems like what I want. Kaare Christian If ibm had invented Unix, what would they have called the cmcl2!rna!kc sticky bit?
