It claims 720H x 348v resolution, and has a hardware character generator that supports up to 3072 characters (256 x 12 fonts). The catch is that the literature claims each character can be 8 or 9 bits wide by 4 to 16 bits high. The pictures show large characters, however. Were they done in graphics mode? I am interested in a product that could paint characters of any reasonable (e.g. up to 256 x 256) size with a hardware generator, the immediate application being fast TeX DVI previewing. If the character size limitation is correct, then this is not the card for the job.
