I want to use a PC-compatible as a dumb terminal running at 9600 baud over
a serial port. It has an LCD screen (*sloooow*), so I need the program
to be able to send out X-ON/X-OFF characters in order to slow down the
host when necessary. Losing characters on the screen is not acceptable,
nor is using a slower baud rate (9600 works fine when there's no scroll).
