More about less and less.  I still need to generate two carriage returns
and a linefeed, but NOT 0D 0D 0A.  The 0D comes complete with its own
line feed.

I need to generate five dot Baudot code like this:  characters 4, 4, and 2.
I have played with all the ascii control codes and none of them will 
present me with a single character 4.  

Question:  Is the computer generating the extra, unwanted line feeds, or is
the tape punch?
