Anyway, on Passover one does not use corn or its byproducts, because it may cause leavening to occur, which is not allowed on Passover, because of the reminder that when leaving Egypt, there was not enough time for the bread to rise (leaven). High-fructose sweetener often means corn syrup, thus it would not be Kosher for Passover.
