    Has anyone had any experience trying to track down roots in Rhode
    Island?  I am familiar with the resources in MA (such as the town
    VITAL RECORDS TO 1850) but am totally unfamiliar with Rhode Island
    resources.
    
    I have some ancestors that moved from Rhode Island to Vermont during
    the 1700s and was hoping to be able to find out more about them
    from Rhode Island specific records.
