I really enjoyed meeting everyone, including Rich Rosen, who I met 13 times. The only problems were that Pooh left early, and a lot of people arrived late (I mean, how are we supposed to read your name tags in the dark? Even if they did all say Rich Rosen). Oh, and poor Ed Horch never did get Channel 4 to show up. :-) Thanks also to ol' Griz and Laura Watson for (seemingly, at least) doing all the cooking. And to whoever thought to include the Foster's in the last beer run. A few highlights: A demonstration of Pooh and Mikki's "technique", complete with "recruiting" sign. (I could read, and was therefore disqualified from consideration. Sigh.) Was it really necessary to take those guys' clothes off to fit them into the trunk? I still didn't get to see Pooh's "Kik-Mi-Do" kata... Kee serenely spending at least a half hour disecting and reassembling an Uzi water gun. And not a single attack hit him in all that time--amazing. Why can't we have cease fires like that in the rest of the world? Never DID get that sucker working right, though. Laura with a Beer Shampoo--egg next, right? She also revealed she was familiar with the concept of head, although I refuse to disclose in what context. Never ONCE saw Matt Crawford wearing anything that wasn't soaking wet. And I warned Mel that if she picked up a water gun, she was just going to make herself a target. She didn't listen. (Unless she WANTED to be a target :-)) Caught in the crossfire... Laura also mentioned to me how they tried cutting the (foot-high) grass for the party. She failed to explain how we were supposed to play volleyball on a hill. Or what they did with the grass after they "harvested" it. And Mikki, I think you may attract more prospects if you spell the sign "Bellcore Rekrooting" so they can at least pronounce it. And I wish you'd learn to spell your own name correctly, fercrissakes... ========================================= "How is this place run? Is it an anarchy?" "No, I wouldn't say so--it's not that well organized." Scott J. Berry ihnp4!hou2g!scott Oh well, *I* had a good time, so the hell with the rest of ya :-)
