Astrophysics Lines: 11 Has anyone successfully run an Interlan NI1010A ethernet board (the older "non-smart" version) on a Vax 8200 running Ultrix v1.2? When astrovax switched from being a Vax 750 running 4.2 BSD to a Vax 8200 running Ultrix v1.2 the board stopped working. It seems to be able to broadcast over the net but whatever is received is garbled. The packets that aren't rejected because of checksum errors have some recognizable data in them. The original board from the 750 and a new board that Interlan sent both have this behavior. I suspect problems in the DMA communication between the Unibus adapter and the board. -- Bill Sebok Princeton University, Astrophysics {allegra,akgua,cbosgd,decvax,ihnp4,noao,philabs,princeton,vax135}!astrovax!wls
