Ultrix 4.1 (4.2bsd sort of)

First Question:
I want to be able to stop an entire set of processes and logout, then
come back later, restart them as they were, and get back to work.

For example, I have dbx in the middle of a big test case, three source
files being edited, and news with a nested newsgroup and a shell.

Second Question:
What can I do with core files (as in segmentation violation: core
dumped)?  Use dbx on them?  Any way to fix the problem and let the
task continue?
