Has anyone had experience with SYS V version 2 or 3 Message Queues facility? I need an IPC facility for doing high speed I/O between processes and it seems that SYS V.2 message queues would be perfect. What is the performance like? Any limitations that are not documented? Any idiosyncracies? Any suggestions?
