You might check with Bob Hahn at Emulex 714-662-5600. We are running
a TC7000 on a 750 with a Kennedy 9400. It also used to do some strange
things, like "freeze" the 750 while the 9400 rewound the tape, also
on seek to end of file. Bob sent us a new set of roms for the controller
and it got rid of the bug.
