If ooblick is defined as in the followup article, (alternating
solid and liquid),  I heard of a recipe when I was in California
involving cornstarch and water, I don't know the proportions...

Anybody familiar with this stuff?  From what I hear, it
"really breaks the ice at naughty parties"....
