As I read his statements, Mike has said nothing about throwing anything out of Christianity. He does suggest that, perhaps, some of the moral concepts of Christianity are borrowed from other cultures. That is another matter. Mike goes on to present his "personal" opinion about some of the teachings of Christianity. He prefaced the entire article with a statement that clearly denotes him as not being a Christian. However, as he goes on to mention, Mike is openminded enough to be receptive to ideas that may develop out of Christianity that have merit in his life. Now, I must ask you. Exactly what "point" are "two and a half millenia of Christians" eager to differ with Mike on? Furthermore, who appointed you as spokesperson for those "two and a half millenia of Christians"? -- Joel Rives USENET: gatech!gitpyr!cc100jr BITNET: gatech!gitvm1!cc100jr "Remember, no matter where you go, there you are!" << Buckaroo Banzai >>
