Where I live (Elmhurst, IL, suburban Chicago area), the local YMCA provides an excellent day camp program throughout the summer for kids entering grades 1-6 (they take some older kids as junior counsellors). With the extended day option, we can drop the kids off as early as 7:00 AM and pick up as late as 6:00 PM. As registration is on a week by week basis, it is easy to work around vacations, 2 week stints in overnight camp, etc. I believe the local park district has a similar program (never checked into it, we and the kids have been happy with the Y). Check into your local YMCA and park district, they may well have similar programs. -- Ed Sachs AT&T Bell Laboratories Naperville, IL ihnp4!ihuxe!essachs
