Message-ID: <8609102007.AA03004@kontron.UUCP> Date: Wed, 10-Sep-86 16:07:10 EDT Article-I.D.: kontron.8609102007.AA03004 Posted: Wed Sep 10 16:07:10 1986 Date-Received: Fri, 12-Sep-86 19:43:17 EDT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Distribution: net Organization: The ARPA Internet Lines: 13 Approved: laser-lovers@washington.arpa I just bought an Apple LaserWriter, represented as being "new". When I got it home, and started installing the toner cartridge, I noticed the cleaning brush slot next to the roller already had a cleaning brush in it -- and it was very worn, and very dirty. But when the printer powered up, the page number was 0! Is this normal? I called Apple Customer Relations, and they told me to call the dealer. ("Uh, I think you guys have committed fraud by selling me a demonstrator or used LaserWriter and representing it as new. Could you please tell me if this is the case?") Please respond quickly to me by mail -- I need some information. Clayton E. Cramer
