Message-ID: <8609052333.AA24049@ucbvax.Berkeley.EDU> Date: Fri, 5-Sep-86 14:00:00 EDT Article-I.D.: ucbvax.8609052333.AA24049 Posted: Fri Sep 5 14:00:00 1986 Date-Received: Fri, 5-Sep-86 23:02:14 EDT Sender: daemon@ucbvax.BERKELEY.EDU Organization: The ARPA Internet Lines: 14 Approved: info-vax@sri-kl.arpa Thanks to all who replied to my question why I never got any reply on my messages to INFO-VAX. I was convinced that I used the wrong address or some like explanation. The many replies I got on my cry for help showed clearly that nothing was wrong with the addressing. Sending submissions to INFO-VAX@SRI-KL.ARPA seems to be the right way. The best explanation seems to be that I didn't read LINKFAIL messages carefully enough so that I missed the one that told about unreliable operation of the BITNET <-> ARPANET gateway at Wisconsin. Thanks again. Peter A. Kroon, K.V.I, Groningen, Netherlands.
