I made the same point to a local distribution list, and learnt that if you
read the last page of the instructions   v e r y   carefully, you find
that the 'User's Guide to EVE' has been subsumed.  The LAT manual - well,
LAT is a 'mature product' - i.e. DEC would like to bury it quietly, and
I suspect that allowing the documentation to disappear is one way of
expediting the interment.  I also have a TECO manual with no home .....
