Does anyone have any user-level software for driving a Matrix QCR film recorder? I have one using a GPIB parallel interface. Ideally, I'm looking for something that loads some format of RGB image into the thing. We are presently setting up the MIDAS system. MIDAS is a software image processing application for astronomers developed at ESO in Munchen, Germany. We need a color graphics board designed for DEC Q-bus and Unibus computers. They should have: at least one memory of 512x512x8, an least one ITT, several LUT's, a joystick, software. I saw mentioned in an article in Computers Graphics World, August 1986, which listed the booths at Siggraph, a company named Peritek (Oakland, CA), which offers such a board, although I am not sure if that has ITT's and LUT's. Has anyone experience with this board or with other boards ?
