I didn't see the "Pop Life" column where Thalia Zadek's old band,
Dangerous Birds, was mentioned, but it _is_ fondly remembered,
at least by me & a few friends.  Of course it never was my
favorite band, but some of its songs were interesting & melodic,
and the single "Alfa Romeo / Smile On Your Face" was a great
example of a potential winner killed by terrible production.
I don't know where that was recorded but judging by the sound,
I would guess Radiobeat studios in Kenmore Sq. which always
sounded muffled to me in a certain identifiable way.
