We have a bunch of people here interested in getting the source to the latest & greatest version of kermit. The greatest need is for a version that runs on Unix SYS/V, though I suspect that when we get that, further requests will be forthcoming. One particular question: Does kermit now cooperate with uucp? That is, does it know how to create the uucp lockfiles for a device, so that uucp won't wake up and stomp on kermit's toes? Of course, if it doesn't, it would be easy enough to modify kermit, if only we had the source. [Now let's see if the usenet moderators file has a good entry for mod.protocols.kermit....]
