[Hint: 9-track mag tapes are not the answer here.] We have some Unices with old versions of kermit, and a bunch of users who'd like the latest and greatest. In particular, it'd be real nice if we could find a version that knew how to set the uucp lockfiles, to keep kermit and uucp from shooting each other in the foot. Of course, if I had the source, I could add the lockfile code fairly quickly...
