Natick, MA 01760 Lines: 10 Keywords: TLB, Hit Rate, Miss Rate I'm told that there is a Rice University study that shows a TLB hit rate of as low as 95% for a 16 entry fully associative TLB supporting a 4K page size. This seems to indicate a benchmark with more than a 64K working set. I don't doubt that this is possible, but I'm not convinced that it is commonplace. Does anyone have the complete reference for the Rice University study? I'd like to see the details.
