Asking before I start thinking about writing them,
does anybody have the following packages for GNU Emacs:

    (1) a spreadsheet
	I'm looking for a spreadsheet that allows cells to be embedded
	in arbitrary locations, using marks, not just in a regular array

    (2) a good mail reader
	The mail systems that came with GNU are clumsy. I'm looking for
	something more like Gosling's reader, with lots of files instead
	of everything in a single file; I could port Gosling's, but it's
	probably copyright. 

I rather hope that nobody has such things, but if you do you may save me
from spending time and having fun.
