Do any of you net folks out there play with radio controlled planes/boats/helicopters etc? If so, I am looking for advise on helicopters. It seems to be that the enthusiasm of this portion of the sport has died off a bit. Is this because of the expense, the difficulty or what? I have been checking out the local hobby shops, but when it comes to helicopters, most of the RC plane/boat people try to dissuade me from buying one. Most of the arguments break down to "expensive" and "difficult". Is it really all that difficult? Is it hard to find places to fly them (in the bay area)? Are there any RC flying clubs around here? --ed
