Has anybody out there any hints about some good algorithms for Pattern
Alignment ??

We have a problem where an object may be slightly displaced compared to the
stored ideal reference image.
We are testing some algorithms, but would appreciate to share other peoples
experience. The algorithm will be implemented in C and/or 68000 assembler.
