In an update from RMCOBOL 2.0D to 2.1A2 (the most recent) I made several calls to RM as well as AT&T to make sure no recompilation was necessary. Now, after installing the update at two different sites, NONE OF THEIR FILES COULD BE ACCESSED! COBOL returned an error code of 93/18 even though there were no other users accessing the same files. (This was on two 3B2/300's). We cannot duplicate the problem on our 3B2/400 (same version of COBOL). RM claims they are not having this problem anywhere else? Is anyone encountering this?? Any info would be appreciated. (Note: RM claimed we had to increase NFILE tunable parameter but this had no affect.) Thanks in advance.
