The point still stands that the people I was responding to who are mentioning SUID-ish features they have seen in the mid-late 70's and propose that these pre-date UNIX's SUID patent of 1979 have their history backwards. That was my only point, sorry about getting the PDP-10 O/S's TOPSy-turvy, as is typical with these things I believe you can delete that claim from my note and the rest of the note still stands on its own two feet. -Barry Shein, Boston University
