Well, here is my first attempt at posting to net. Hope it works. What drives 
me to such desperation is that I have just recently moved
to Wisconsin, where I seem to have disconnected myself from the ftp
site at Trantor, U. of Maryland [128.8.0.14], where I used to get recent 
public domain stuff for the amiga. ftp simply times out on me every time I
try to initiate a connection. 

Anyone out there in the wonderful subcontinent of net.micro.amiga 
(of the net-world, that is) know of any other ftp sites? Any hints would be 
greatly appreciated, and perhaps might also be useful for the
general readership of fellow Amigans.
