I hope APPLE is listening!!! One the few things that is really dumb is they used the same old APPLESOFT!!! Damn couldn't they have done soem mods on it so I can use the power of the //GS!! I dont want to use the "&" forever.. I guess thats what "APPLE // FOREVER" means. On another note the RGB is analog. We never had an RGB interface unless u bought a 3rd party card. They used mostly Digital RGB [IBM] output. I myself am going to try and hook up my VR241... Hope it works as i could save the $475.00. I'm still waiting to here from APPLE to see if it'll work. The dealer doesn't know so.... I hear the //GS can have up to 1.25mb fo ROM... Maybe we can add a new APPLESOFT at a later date. Also rumor has it that the //GS drops down to 1.25mhz when you do HIGH RES GRAPHICS... So not only do u have a bigger file but it slows down the CPU too. Atleast the video trace and memory refresh are seperated now.. Joe.... PS: When i changed the backround color of a //GS to PURPLE it messed up the text in the CONTROL PANEL.... Whats Up APPLE....
