I'm far from being a technical expert on the Apple, but this 
'problem' sounds so familiar.  I could not load Newsroom.
The problem was that I had not enhanced my //e, apparently
it was assumed by the software writers that only enhanced
machines are out here.  It cost me another $70 to get my $50
program to run.

Obsolescence makes the world go 'round.
