     Dave Small of Data Pacific just called about my problems with
Magic Sac (see my earlier text for details) and has indicated that:

     1) The bug which roached the terminal driver was the result of a
last minute attempt to improve something, and has been fixed.

     2) The bug in copying files between diskettes on a single drive
system is a problem in the Mac OS, but they will be doing a workaround
in the near future.

     3) He is going to do a 'copyaa' program to allow backup of diskettes under
GEM on a single disk system, and that will be done soon.

     4) The bug in the LISA version of the code will take a little
longer, but they are getting a LISA sometime this week, and will fix it.

     He promised to send me diskettes with the updates as soon as he
can get them, and is going to make arrangements with local dealers to
get updates out in general.

     Meanwhile, I should be able to borrow a Mac this weekend and test
out the rest of the system.
