Caveat: I do not own an ST and have not seen any of the documentation
that is provided with it.

First the dma port ... can someone tell me what the pin assignments
are and the associated protocol ? 

Cartridge port ... can this be written by the 68000 or just read? Are
the right lines provided so that an active device can read and write
main memory from the port?

Can someone suggest a fairly reliable document (cheap) that can answer
questions like the above.
