Summary: easy, both H & V, on the mono monitor

After my warranty expired I opened my monochrome monitor (SM124)
and found LABELED adjustment points for BOTH vertical and horizontal
size. I managed to enlarge the picture considerably without noticable
distortion: the margins are now only about 1/2 inch around.  Make
sure you use plastic tools for adjustment, and don't touch any high-
voltage wires!!!
