I have noticed that on some of the IBM machines here that are running sidekick that it is necessary to exity the same way you got in. If you used ctrl-alt to bring sidekick up, exit that way too. This seems to primarily be an interaction that crops up when using sidekick on top of a program that is writing to the graphics screen rather than the text screen (Eg. beware of Microsoft Word that displays on the graphics page).
