True. I don't remember the name of it, Quadram sticks in mind but that's probably wrong. But the board isn't a disk adapter, it's an Apple ][ emulator that will allow you to pretend that your PC is an Apple. It doesn't support format conversion between disk formats - when it's active, your PC is no longer a PC. The board will do almost but not quite all of the things an Apple ][ does, but unless there has been an upgrade, it isn't even close to an Apple //e or //c.
