Filename Type Bytes CRC Directory PD: EXKERMI1.LBR.1 BINARY 16256 94C3H EXKERMI1 is different from EXKERMIT in that it is a version of KERMIT written in assy language (hence it is faster and smaller than the EXKERMIT written in Turbo Pascal). It also has software-selectable serial port access whereas EXKERMIT does not (either the modem OR serial printer port -- one is a DTE the other is set up as a DCE). In addition, if you are familiar with the -command sequence completion of some of the DEC machines, this version of KERMIT has that. I took the assy lang version of the machine-independent version of KERMIT from CU20B at Columbia and wrote a machine-dependent overlay for the Osborne Executive computer. --Paul Woodie
