I found a way to connect my Mac printer and Hayes Modem (on the Mac), for use by the Amiga using a program I wrote called 'Virtual Ports', that runs on the Mac. I connect the devices like this: ---------- ----------- ! Mdm!-------------------+SerPrt ! ! ! -------- ! ! !Mac Ptr!-----!A/B sw! ! Amiga ! ! ! --+--+-- ! ! ---------- ! ! ----------- ! ! ! +---------- ! ! Imagwrtr! ! ----------- ! +--+---------- !Hayes Mdm! ----------- Then this program runs on the Mac, and sends ALL Data rcvd on the Modem port to the Printer port and visa versa. I have tested it to the Imagwriter using the 1.2 Imagwriter II driver on the Amiga in both straight text and black-white graphics output modes, it works fine. I have also used it to talk to my Hayes 2400 baud modem and used VT100 program on the Amiga to it. It can even download using kermit with no problems. If there is interest, I will post it to the net, in net.sources.mac Phil Hunt
