Huntsville, AL Lines: 24 Xref: mnetor net.wanted:3907 net.micro.pc:6613 [ this line expressly for the purpose of not promoting tooth decay ] I need information about the SHARE program supplied with DOS 3.2. I also need information about the way that DOS handles "network disks". The driver level calls for opening files for sharing is documented in the DOS tech ref book, but I would like to know how and at what level DOS keeps track of who has what file opened. If anyone knows of a good reference for this information, please let me know. I also would like to hear from anyone who has used the DMA set-up on the pc. I understand how the kluge works, and the problems involved with the page registers, etc, but I don't know which channels I can safely use for custom hardware. Please mail responses. If there is enough response, I will summarize and post. Steve Conklin akgua!ingr!tesla!steve Intergraph Corp. akgua!ingr!stevec Huntsville, AL 35807 ihnp4!ingr!... M/S DB1402 (205) 772-6618
