Most insurance companies have about a $1,500.00 limit for such stuff (stereo, cameras, vcr's, TV's, etc) and this is for each occurrence of a loss no matter how much you really lost. It is best to read the fine print which only comes with the final policy. If you have more than the limit, you can get an extra rider for some extra $$.
