You've probably seen a posting in this group by Brad Yearwood @
Kontron Electronics concerning dhrystone tests of the Compaq 386.
A more real-world benchmark may be of interest.

Our general manager brought over one of his 123 spreadsheets and
loaded it in.  The same load that takes approximately 2 minutes on
his XT takes 5.75 seconds on the Compaq 386.

For the 123 market, the Compaq 386 is POWER!
