I tried downloading a file over the local network at 9600 baud and at times it went like gangbusters and other times it was a dead standstill. None of these problems cropped their ugly heads up at 4800 baud. It turned out that downloading the same file went faster at 4800 than 9600!! What's happening? - Marty Moose -
